In RemakeCV, your logo, header logo and header/footer colour are set by an administrator in Company Settings, and the CV font is chosen from a supported list. Logos must be **PNG or JPEG under 5MB** — SVG is not accepted. Get the logo dimensions right and the rest is straightforward.

## Uploading your logo

| Asset | Format | Size limit | Suggested dimensions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Logo | PNG or JPEG | 5MB | ~800 × 100 px |
| Header logo | PNG or JPEG | 5MB | ~1000 × 400 px |

> **Warning:**
**SVG files are not accepted.** Export your logo to PNG at the suggested dimensions or larger. A transparent PNG is strongly preferable to JPEG, which will put a white box behind your logo.

## Choosing a font

The CV font is selected from a supported list rather than typed in. The options are:

Arial · Aptos · Tahoma · Calibri · Helvetica · Cambria · Century Gothic · Garamond · Montserrat · Apercu Pro Medium

> **Warning:**
Two of these — **Montserrat** and **Apercu Pro Medium** — are not installed on a standard Windows or Mac machine. If you distribute **DOCX** files, recipients without those fonts will see a substituted font, and the layout will shift. Either send PDF, which embeds fonts, or pick one of the Office-standard options: Arial, Calibri, Cambria, Garamond, Tahoma or Helvetica.

See [the downloaded DOCX doesn't look right in Word](https://www.remakecv.com/help/troubleshooting/docx-wont-open.md).

## Header and footer colour

Set as a colour value in Company Settings by an administrator. If you only have a Pantone or CMYK value from a print brand guide, convert it to hex first — and check the result on screen, since print colours rarely match exactly.

## Who can change what

| Setting | Who |
|---|---|
| Logo and header logo | Administrator |
| Header and footer colour | Administrator |
| Company address, office number, licence number | Administrator |
| CV font | Available beyond administrators |

> **Tip:**
Font choice being widely available is the most common reason two consultants produce differently styled CVs from the same template. Agree one font as a team and check everyone has it set. See [template basics](https://www.remakecv.com/help/templates-and-branding/template-basics.md).

## Accessibility

Some clients — public sector especially — apply contrast requirements to documents they receive. Pale grey body text on white is the usual failure. If you know your clients audit for this, factor it into your colour choices, or ask us to check the template.

## Frequently asked questions

### What logo format should I upload?

PNG or JPEG, under 5MB. SVG is not accepted. Aim for roughly 800x100 pixels for the standard logo and 1000x400 for a header logo.

### Can we use our own brand font?

Only fonts on the supported list can be selected. If your brand font is not there, email support@remakecv.com — but note a custom font in a DOCX only renders correctly if the recipient has it installed.

### Who can change branding?

An administrator, in Company Settings. Font choice is available more widely, which is worth knowing if your team's output looks inconsistent.
