Connecting Bullhorn

Connect Bullhorn to push formatted CVs onto candidate records and to search, create and update candidates from inside RemakeCV. Each consultant connects their own account in a few seconds.

Connecting Bullhorn lets you send a formatted CV onto a candidate record, and search, create and update candidates from inside RemakeCV. Each consultant connects their own Bullhorn account. It is a write-back integration: you format the CV in RemakeCV, then push the finished .docx straight onto the Bullhorn record, with no download-and-re-attach step at the end.

What it can do

CapabilityWhat happens
Search candidates by nameSearched from within RemakeCV

Connection scopePer consultant
Note:

Bullhorn is a write-back integration, so the CV starts its journey in RemakeCV: upload the candidate's CV in the normal way, format it, then push the result onto the Bullhorn record. That removes the fiddly half of the job — the download and re-attach at the end.

What you need first

  • Bullhorn enabled for your company — our team switches it on, so email support@remakecv.com
  • A Bullhorn login for each consultant who will use it

How to connect

  1. Start from RemakeCV

Open the user menu on your dashboard and choose Connect Bullhorn.

  2. Sign in to Bullhorn

You are sent to Bullhorn to sign in. Each consultant does this with their own account, which keeps Bullhorn-side permissions and audit trails intact per user.

  3. Confirm you are connected

You are returned to RemakeCV. Check the Bullhorn panel shows as connected before relying on it.

Note:

Because connections are per consultant, rolling Bullhorn out to a team means each person connecting once — a few seconds each, and their own Bullhorn permissions carry across.

The day-to-day workflow

  1. Upload the CV to RemakeCV

From your desktop, in the normal way. See uploading a CV.

  2. Format and review

Choose a template, check the extraction, apply any AI tools.

  3. Find the candidate in Bullhorn

Search from within RemakeCV, or create the candidate if they are new.

  4. Push the formatted CV across

It is uploaded to the candidate record as {First}_{Last}_CV.docx.

Tip:

Uploaded files carry the logical type (Resume or FormattedResume) in the record's external identifier rather than the Bullhorn file-type field. If files appear under an unexpected type in Bullhorn, that is why — the document itself is correct.

Running another ATS or CRM as well?

RemakeCV integrates with any ATS or CRM your agency runs, not only the platforms already live. Our team builds new integrations on request using the API credentials your provider supplies, and they behave exactly like this one — same templates, same editor, same output. Email support@remakecv.com with the platform name, or see the integrations overview.

Frequently asked questions

How does a CV get from RemakeCV into Bullhorn?
Bullhorn is a write-back integration. Upload the candidate's CV to RemakeCV, format it into your template, then push the finished document onto the Bullhorn candidate record as a .docx — the download-and-re-attach step disappears.
Is the connection per user or per company?
Per consultant. Each person connects their own Bullhorn account, which keeps Bullhorn-side permissions and audit trails intact per user.
Do I need to reconnect Bullhorn?
Rarely. Bullhorn's REST session runs on its own clock alongside the OAuth token, and RemakeCV re-establishes it automatically. On the occasions Bullhorn wants your sign-in again, reconnecting from the user menu takes a few seconds.
