Connecting TargetRecruit

RemakeCV connects to TargetRecruit. Our team builds the integration against API credentials for your account, working with whoever administers the Salesforce org it runs on, so branded CVs land back on the candidate record.

RemakeCV connects to TargetRecruit. Our team builds the integration for your agency using API credentials for your TargetRecruit account, so a candidate's CV can be formatted into your branded template and returned to their record instead of being exported and re-attached by hand. Tell us about your setup at support@remakecv.com and we will work out the shape of it together.

How the integration is set up

  1. Get in touch and describe the desk

Email support@remakecv.com with your agency name, a note on who prepares candidate CVs today, and where the branded document has to end up once it exists.

  2. Arrange API access on your account

Your TargetRecruit administrator, or their support team, determines what credentials can be issued and on what terms. Their answer defines the boundaries of the build.

  3. Pass the credentials across securely

We will point you at a safe channel. Treat anything that reaches candidate data the way you would treat a production secret — never plain email, never parked in a shared inbox where it outlives the project.

  4. We implement it and enable it for your company

The relevant controls then surface in your RemakeCV dashboard. There is nothing for consultants to install and nothing for them to reconnect.

Note:

What a connection is able to do is decided by the API access granted on your own account rather than by us — usually collecting a candidate's CV, filing the branded version back against them, or both directions. We agree that scope with you in writing before any build work begins. The same applies to platforms not named anywhere on this site: if your agency runs something else alongside TargetRecruit, or an internal system of your own, that is a build we will take on request too.

Bring your Salesforce administrator to the scoping call

TargetRecruit is built on the Salesforce platform, and that has a practical consequence worth acting on: the agency running it almost always has someone who understands the org underneath — an in-house administrator, or a consultancy on a retainer. That person is the one to have on the call.

The questions that shape a build are theirs to answer. How are candidate records arranged in your org? Where do CV files actually live against them? What is an integration user permitted to see? Which of your customisations does a connection have to respect? None of that makes a TargetRecruit build faster or cheaper — we would not promise that before scoping it — but it does mean the answers already exist somewhere in your business rather than having to be discovered.

Your administrator is also the right person to settle whether the connection is held once for the whole company or made by each consultant, since that decision lands on the permissions model they maintain. For how we hold credentials and candidate data generally, see security and sub-processors.

One thing to raise with them while you are talking: RemakeCV already runs a Salesforce integration for agencies whose recruiting happens directly in Salesforce rather than through TargetRecruit. Your administrator will recognise the shape of it immediately, and which of the two suits your agency is worth settling before anything gets built.

What the workflow looks like

With a connection running, producing a client-ready CV becomes part of progressing the candidate rather than a task somebody has to remember:

  1. Consultants carry on working candidates in TargetRecruit, on the same records as before.
  2. The CV is rendered into your agency's branded design, through the same editor and options your team uses in the browser.
  3. The branded document is filed back against the candidate, where whoever opens that record next will find it.

The middle step is ordinary RemakeCV — see uploading a CV and reviewing and editing.

Does the integration change the formatting?

No. Your template, the editor, anonymisation, summaries and downloads work the same whether a CV arrived over a connection or was dropped into the browser by hand. A connection only decides the route the file takes, which means adopting one never obliges you to revisit decisions about your output.

Auto-anonymisation, candidate summaries and template variants all carry over untouched. Where the branded design has not been built yet, that work runs in parallel with the connection — see requesting a custom template.

Building it yourself

Agencies on the Salesforce platform frequently have development capacity to hand already, whether that is a staff developer or the partner who did the original implementation. If they would rather own the connection, the public REST API exposes the processing, retrieval and template endpoints directly. See connecting RemakeCV to any ATS or internal system for what those cover.

Which plan includes it?

Integrations sit on the Business plan as well as Enterprise — there is no upgrade gate on this. See plans and pricing.

Start the conversation

Email support@remakecv.com with TargetRecruit, your agency name and a line on who administers your Salesforce org. We will confirm what the connection can do on your account, what we need from you, and how your consultants will use it day to day.

Frequently asked questions

Does RemakeCV integrate with TargetRecruit?
Yes. A TargetRecruit connection is one our team builds for your agency using API credentials for your account, after which it works like the other ATS and CRM connections we run. Because TargetRecruit is built on the Salesforce platform, whoever administers your org is a useful person to have in the first conversation. Write to support@remakecv.com to arrange it.
What do I need to provide?
API credentials for your TargetRecruit account, plus enough detail about the Salesforce org underneath it for us to know what we are building against — how candidate records are arranged and where CV files are held against them. Your Salesforce administrator will have those answers. Send them to support@remakecv.com.
Will it work the same as the other integrations?
Yes. Your template, the editor, anonymisation, candidate summaries and downloads are unaffected by the route a CV took to reach RemakeCV. A connection governs how the file moves between two systems and nothing beyond that, so what your client receives is identical either way.
Can I use RemakeCV with TargetRecruit before the integration is set up?
Yes. RemakeCV runs on its own in a browser — upload a CV, format it into your branded template, download it and attach it where you need it. Agencies often settle the template that way first and add the connection afterwards; it is not a prerequisite.
